Based on Charlotte Perkins Gilman's feminist novel of the same name, this fashion film follows the narrative of The Goddess of Motherhood. This Goddess is described by Gilman as bringing parthenogenetic fertility to a world where all of the men have died, and only the women are left to survive. The women of Herland are left to worship The Goddess in the hope that they too will be blessed with the gift of fertility.
